About

Luke
Korth.

Software engineer by day, I occasionally practice photography and build things. I love to get technical - quality, sharpness, and technical difficulty are where I believe I excel and what sets my photos apart.

I started taking pictures as a kid, but a trip to Australia as a teenager really got me interested in photography. I saved up and bought my first DSLR in high school and have been taking photos for over 20 years now.

Photography and travel were a natural match for me early on. I started taking photos on trips; now I plan trips around what I want to photograph. My best friend and I plan most of the big trips together. The list of places to go keeps growing faster than I can get to them.

I enjoy the technical demands of long exposure photography and the blending of time into a single photo, you can see the reflection of this in my work. Additionally the vast and varied beauty of landscapes holds special meaning for me. My work here is a tiny fraction of the photos I take.

I've always shot with a Canon body and have never been let down by them. I own a collection of L and Sigma glass.

I prefer large-scale metal and canvas prints. I've sold a number of prints at local gallery exhibitions and have prints available to be shipped, contact me for more details.
